Therefore, it is important to understand the Montessori Method and to visit the schools to observe the environment and ask pertinent questions.
At Cypress Creek Children’s Montessori School of Frisco we give the children freedom, encouragement, guidance and an enriched environment in the class room. This enables them to develop an early enthusiasm for learning. The habits and skills learned in our class rooms promise to be good for a life time.
The infant program at Cypress Creek Children’s Montessori School of Frisco lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning. It is said that learning in infancy sets the pattern for life. It should not be random and chaotic but systematic and structured.
Dr. Montessori said, “If we consider the child’s first environment- in the womb of the mother- we realize that nature has given us a clue to an ideal environment. Here the child has warmth, nourishment, security, shelter, protection and freedom to develop”. The prepared environment and the sensorial training, which Dr. Montessori developed, are consistent with the developmental needs and capabilities of a very young child.
The infant room at Cypress Creek Montessori provides all the above...
In the toddler room the children are learning to follow a routine. Since this is their first time away from home it is essential to make it a positive experience. Many aspects of a toddler’s life are developed at this time- such as emotional, intellectual, physical and character development. Language enrichment which includes vocabulary building, rhyming words, sequencing, and opposites are just a few ways in which a child starts the basis of reading. Small and large motor activities and practical life exercises prepare the children for the next level.
The children have the opportunity for social interaction. They learn to work both individually or in a group. Since the children have a limited attention span the toddlers work in half hour sessions...
The primary classes at Cypress Creek Montessori are very well equipped to offer pre kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade work. The mixed age grouping of three to six years of age in the same room helps the children to advance to the next level without changing class rooms.

Not only do we understand how the training and the refinement of the senses gives the child a strong basis for learning but we allow for the role of esthetics in the development of the whole child. The class rooms are beautifully arranged with plants and flowers. Each child in the room works at his own pace. It is an eye opener for the parents to see how eagerly the children work in this free environment...

Maria Montessori, the first female physician in Italy, was born in 1870. In her medical practice, her clinical observation led her to analyze how children learn and how they build themselves from what they find in their environment. Dr. Montessori believed that education starts at birth. Studies have shown that 75% to 80% of the learning takes place before the age of six years. Therefore it is very important that pre-school children be provided with the right environment and proper materials. In a report by Carnegie ...
"We cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! Both of our boys have attended over the past 4 years and the teachers and staff are so loving, caring and patient. They love our kiddos like their own. Ms. Faye is an amazing director who has been flexible and very accommodating for our family. Her life's work has been running pre-schools and many of the teachers have been with her for several decades - one of the many reasons we love Cypress Creek is the low turnover!"
"I honestly can't say enough great things about this school. The director, Ms. Faye, is so kind and personable.
The teachers really love the children. My son loves them and snuggles up to them. I never thought I'd find a daycare. I was so worried about leaving my son anywhere, but I KNOW these teachers love him, and I know he's in great, caring hands.
My friend referred us to this school. She is a neonatal nurse practitioner, and she takes her two children here. I am a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse, and I trust them more than I can say."
"CCCM is the best choice my husband and I made for our child's learning and development. We have watched his progress since he started at the school and we are truly amazed at how far he has come. We sent our son to the school at only 11 weeks old and we are very thankful for Ms Faye and her teachers for taking great care of our child."
"My husband and I ABSOLUTELY love Cypress Creek Children's Montessori. The staff is amazing and they have genuine desire to reach our children. My son is in the Froggies class with Ms. Meghan and Ms. Betty. Both have done an excellent job with educating Bryce. His vocabulary in well more advanced than several other children his age at 2 1/2. They also make their learning environment very welcoming to the students so they are never sad about going to school. We are so thankful and very fortunate to have a school like CCCM available to our children."
"I love this school. My son has been here for over a year starting when he was 9 months and he loves his teachers. The teachers are so caring and really go the extra mile to work with the kids."
"Mrs. Faye and her staff are wonderful! They all care for each child equally and you can see that through the hugs and smiles on all the kid's faces. My daughter adores her! We've graduated from CCMS and moved out of the area, but my dtg was there for over a year and had the same 2 teachers. My only regret is not finding this place sooner!"
"Undoubtedly, my husband and I made the right choice when we selected Cypress Creek Childrens Montessori for our son.The way his teachers have helped our son develop his individuality, while at the same time emphasizing self-discipline and respect towards others, has truly been a heartening experience. Thank You CCCM !"
